How do I prepare for an energy healing session?

There's nothing special you need to do to prepare other than to come with an open mind and a willingness to create your own reality.

Wear clothing you find comfortable. Sessions take place on a massage table with clients fully clothed. Blankets are available for extra comfort.

If you are doing a distance session, ensure you have a quiet place to sit or lay down comfortably where you will not be disturbed for the duration of your session. Have either headphones or the ability to have your phone on speaker so you can relax all of you and not worry about holding your phone.

What can I expect during my session?

It's impossible to predict exactly what each session will be like, but there are some common themes. Most people feel calm, relaxed, and grounded during and after their session. While the energy work is happening, some people feel tingling, temperature changes, or sensations in their body as energy moves. Strong emotions may release, physical pain may disappear, and new realizations and insights may emerge. You may not feel anything physically, but rest assured there are shifts happening for your highest good.

Light touch on the body may be used, but is not necessary. Sound healing instruments (Tibetan singing bowls, tingsha, tuning forks, etc) may be used to help people resonate with a calming frequency or help shift energetic patterns.

Whatever is ready to shift in you will come to the surface. Nothing will move if your system is not ready for movement.

What can I expect after my session?

Most people report feeling lighter, more at ease, and more grounded in themselves after a session. Please visit the Reviews page for testimonials from people who have experienced energy healing sessions with me.

If you are able to have free time after our time together, that is ideal. Many people have a strong urge to sleep immediately after energy work, and taking time to be in nature or journal can be very helpful. However, there is nothing to prevent you from going about your day as usual immediately following your session. Keep in mind being in crowds or around others with strong energy may not be ideal.

In the days following your energy work, pay attention to your dreams, thoughts, and feelings, as these may change as you integrate new levels of awareness in yourself. You can also expect to go home with homework! During your session, practices that are specific to your system will come through to my awareness that will allow you to continue the work on your own.

Do you offer follow-up support?

Absolutely! Feel free to email, call, or text me after your session if you have any questions, and certainly if you are struggling to integrate whatever came up in your session. Follow up sessions are recommended to continue your growth and healing into your most awakened and creative self. There is no prescription for when to come back or how often - use your intuition to feel what is right for you. If you’re needing guidance, 2 weeks between sessions is a good average.
